In my sculpting I continue on what nature started – stone or wood. I like working with handtools as much as possible. For me it enhances the diversity of the material in a nice way. By having an open eye for unexpected  the sculpture slowly emerges in collaboration between me and the stone. The stonesculptures here shown are made on the westcoast of Sweden and in Carara, Italy. The wooden sculptures are shaped out maple from northen Sweden and Berlin oaks.Beeing born in Lysekil, Sweden, in the archipelago of granit, gave me a connection to some kind of ancient sensation. The stone is what it is.
